Arrangements
Ten days before the course, you will gain access to the course resource
directory, via a private area of our web site. This provides for pre course
preparation and helps us to spend more time in practical exercises during the
course.
In your practice sessions you will be asked to try out methods and
principles to prove their value. You will have the opportunity to
present seven times during the course. To minimise the need for
preparation, topics have been chosen to call on knowledge you are
familiar with.
On day two you will be working on presentations useful in your work
environment. Each opportunity focuses on different skills and
techniques. Video and peer review provides constructive feedback and
evidence of your progress during the course.
Your final presentation involves explaining material from the course to
an imaginary audience of work colleagues.
If, like most people, you feel anxious about the
practical exercises, read the
comments from other participants. Our purpose is to make your
experience fun and rewarding and we have never had anyone comment
otherwise after a course. We guarantee an enjoyable two days that will
leave you with a new confidence in your ability to stand up and speak. |
