- Candidate B was ejected from office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a large amounts of whisky every evening.

If you recommended an abortion in answer to the first question, you just killed Beethoven.
There are a couple of important points to make about this ethical trap. Beethoven's mother did bear eight children in total and four of them died in infancy for various reasons. Otherwise, the information is uncorroborated. The facts about the drinking and womanising habits of the political candidates are less distorted but perhaps dressed for the purpose.
The point of the question is that we are all guilty of drawing conclusions based on assumptions, of granting information credibility to suit our perspective or purpose, and of making judgements without being in full possession of the facts.
